What would you do if you knew you could not fail? This is a very interesting question. Remove the fear of failure and you begin to see life is full of possibilities. Living your dream without a moment of hesitation.
Three simple questions for you...
1. If you knew you could not fail and everyone in your life held no judgment, and wholeheartedly supported you ..what would you do?
2. Are you doing it?
3. If not....WHY?
If your not doing something you desire because you're afraid of failing or being judged.....how do you feel? Would it feel better to live in your life actively participating in your dreams or living in a place of fear waiting for someone else to give you permission or not?
Fear can come in all different forms: Your own voice and the voice of others.
Own Voice:
"Get real, you can't do that!"
"What if it doesn't work out?"
"I am too old"
"I am not smart enough"
"I am too fat"
" Oh, I really don't think I want to do it"
Voice of others:
"Why do you want to do that?"
"Your life is fine the way it is"
"Are you going through a mid-life crisis?"
"What will your mother think?"
"You will never make enough money doing that"
If you are experiencing a yearning for the incompleteness in your life to go away it's time to ask yourself, "What would I do if I knew I could not fail?"
What are you waiting for and why are you not doing it?
Much Joy,
Karen Fagan
Karen,
You are a beacon in the darkness. Radiating your warmth and joy for all who look your way. Your words have captured my imagination, as a song bird coming out of the forrest. I will return again to listen to you, and wonder what if....
Sincerely,
David Hewitt
